Credits: Iris bracteata, I photographed this May 2, 2006, near Cave Junction along Hwy 199 in SW Oregon. (Diane Whitehead, 14-OCT-07)

Comments: This roadside patch had flowers with a lot of red pigment in the bracts and spathe. In the summer of 2007, the road was being widened. A few plants remained, but the roadworks may not have been finished yet. (Diane Whitehead, 14-OCT-07)
