Comments: 'Gubijin'. This cultivar has an extra, unbalanced chromosome. It is used as a pod parent to breed pseudata iris with healthy green foliage. Presumably, the extra chromosome has a set of pseudacorus genes that control chlorophyll production, providing a much needed second set to its pseudata offspring. (Ken Walker, 16-OCT-17)
