Distinguishing Features:

It is distinguished from all other species of Freesia by the leathery, somewhat glaucous leaves with a prominent submarginal vein. (D. Kramb, 07-AUG-05)

Preferred Habitat:

Endemic of succulent karoo shrubland. (D. Kramb, 07-AUG-05)



Native Range:

A new species from the Breede River valley near Worcester in Western Cape Province, South Africa. (D. Kramb, 07-AUG-05)
