General Description:

Two blossoms enclosed between two shortened leaves emerge from papery spathes. Similar to Iris pontica, but differs in shape & size of the rhizome. Iris ludwigii are compact and crowded. Grows 8" to 10". (D. Kramb, 28-MAR-05)
